New Year's Day! We're at Dulles International Airport on our way to Wellington, New Zealand. New Year's Day, incidentally, is a great time to travel. I'd never seen such light traffic on the Capital Beltway. The security checkpoint, too. Hillery and I were already exhausted from all the last minute details and packing.
